HQZ系列水井鉆機是一種輕型、高效、多功能的鉆鑿孔設備，它主要適用于工、民鉆井、地溫鉆井，具有結構緊湊、進尺快，移動靈活適用地域廣等優點。尤其適用與山區和巖石地層取水。

該鉆機可在不同地層上進行穿鑿工作，鉆孔直徑可達245-294mm。該鉆機采用新型液壓技術，配套大扭矩液壓馬達回轉以及大缸徑液壓油缸推進，名廠多缸發動機為液壓系統提供動力，兩級空濾以及空壓機進氣設計，延長柴油機的使用壽命。獨特的泵組設計方便維修，降低維修成本。集中控制的液壓操縱臺，方便操作。

該系列鉆機采用挖掘機履帶底盤，越野性能強。獨立的模塊設計，可使鉆機裝在卡車上，增加其機動性。兩檔回轉和推進速度可滿足在土層和巖層的不同穿鑿需要。組合式的定位器，可根據不同型號的鉆桿和沖擊器進行調整更換定位盤，保證定位定心準確、可靠。卷揚機構方便鉆桿和沖擊器的吊裝，降低勞動強度。
